Fall buying guide

Patch-day wagons, boots, and blankets

A patch day is a walk plus a pumpkin you do not want to carry back to the car. Wagon titles often state a pound rating and whether the wheels are described as all-terrain. Boot and blanket titles are included when they are in the patch-day category.

Pound ratings are copied from the title, not from a load test. Paths at farms vary, and a wagon that says all-terrain in the title can still struggle in mud. Confirm the farm’s terrain on the farm’s own site.
